It was arranged ride for me, my previous driver called his friend and asked to take me to Gjakovë and he waited for us there. But for my look it should be good spot anyway.

First car stopped, that's how it works in this region. My driver called his friend, who often rides to Kosovo. It turned out that he is leaving right now, he waited for us and I just changed the cars. Amazing, super helpful people.

It was madness. Due to low level of water my ferry stopped at this steep gravel road. Buses and cars had quite difficult experience with going up to the road. People from the ferry climbed to road by foot and waited for their buses which were stuck at the river. Since I hadn't got organised transport with ferry guys, obviously I hoped for some opportunity to hitchhike. While everyone was waiting, suddenly one local car showed up from nearby village. I thumbed and of course he stopped and took me. Absolute chaotic.

Fine spot just maybe some cars go a bit fast. We were heading to kosovo but got picked up by local who was goig to the next town and went past it to take us to the main road.

Super low traffic. Like car every 5 mins but locals are here friendly so we got picked up by one who was just offering a lift to eveyone kinda. We drove to baijram curi. A lot of place to stop and cars are slow and see you for a long time.

Mostly traffic only from ferry so hard to get something and it would eventually. Maybe it would be better just to ask people leaving the ferry for a lift. But some crazy guys stoped who were driving around the mountains and took us to the next town.

Got almost instant ride to Gjakovë - the first bigger city on the way, so it was not difficult

I was heading to Kosovo, a local man picked me up. Spoke German luckily, so we understood each other. Took me all the way to the borders

It's a good spot to catch rides, only not much traffic going my direction at this time (3 cars during 2 hours).
Try to get a ride at least to Dushaj (basically everyone should go there) and then there are more cars already around.

we tried hitch hiking instead of taking the ferry leaving the region. We were picked up but not going very far

car is really really infrequent, we waited for 1 hour for two hikes back to the highway to Tarane. We are just too lucky for the second hike to go a long way zig-zag among mountains
